1909 hardcover (not a reprint) as pictured. Volume 1 only. Ex-library with usual markings. Binding is firm though rear hinge is cracked after the index. Blue cloth boards with gold stamping are faded and show wear with fraying at top and bottom of spine. Corners are bumped. Both hinges and the spine have been reinforced with tape. Text block rough cut with gilt top edge. Some pen markings on contents page but text appears otherwise clean and unmarked. No dust jacket. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s
