From the library of Sylvia Plath's daughter Frieda Hughes with her ownership signature to the front free endpaper. Bound in publisher's cloth lettered in silver. Near Fine with slight lean to spine; In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with minor rubbing at covers. An exceptional copy with a fantastic provenance.
Synopsis
Sylvia Plath was born in 1932 in Massachusetts. She began publishing poems and stories as a teenager and by the time she entered Smith College had won several poetry prizes. The Colossus is a poetry collection that was published in 1971.
