Romania: Dacia Cluj, 1971 Hardcover book , First English edition. Grey cloth with black title printed on red label to front cover, and illustrated dustjacket. 219pp, large quarto. With 125 b&w photo illustrations in the text or whole page. These mostly show close-up details of the sculpted scenes on Trajan's Column in Rome, the subject of this book, along with Trajan's campaign against the Dacians (modern day Romania and the Balkans). Very Good in Very Good jacket. Bookplate inside front cover. Slight stretch to binding but sound. Brown spotting to top cover and top page edges. Jacket has some colour fade to red of spine and has edge wear around top of spine. Pictures available.
