Boston:: Houghton Mifflin,, 1963.. First printing. hardcover. VERY GOOD in GOOD jacket. Apparent first printing (1963 on title page, 3.25 dust jacket); original edition NOT book club. This is a tan cloth hardcover with green lettering on spine and green horse and jockey on cover, in green dustjacket with Seabiscuit the colt and a larger horse on cover; black endpapers with white illustration of horses racing; 172 pages. Book cover like new except bows outward just slightly; lower edges very lightly soiled due to standing on bookshelf. Page edges lightly soiled. Tight binding; no marks or writing; very faintly musty. Dust jacket is intact but quite worn, now protected by a new clear mylar cover.
