Boston: Hardy, Pratt & Co.. Red cloth covers with gilt Balzac signature on front and top edge of pages gilt, paper title plate on spine. Beautiful black and white illustration plates. Covers moderately worn and silverfished, title plates lightly to moderately worn, bindings flexible but pages tightly bound in, some page edges rough cut, light tanning to pages. Most volumes have been stored in plastic for years. Volume 15 has some staining to title plate and page edges. Greater description and/or photos happily provided upon request.
