FIRST EDITION of this acclaimed translation of The Comedies of Terence by George Colman, the well known English dramatist and author of the comedy, The Jealous Wife. Included are a valuable collection of notes and criticism, and fine etched plates of Roman masks of the characters preceding each play. Rebacked, with original spine laid down, some light foxing, but still a pleasant attractive copy.
