ENGLAND; Color Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; xviii,320; [1]-304 pages; The Comic History Of England. 2 Vols in 1 as issued. Color full page plates and textural b/w cuts. Recased original green cloth, later endpapers, aeg. Moderately worn , brief loss to some edges, contents largely very good. Short tear to margin of frontis and to one plate. 20 hand-colored plates, numerous text illustrations. Boards firmly and fully attached with no cracks. Provenance- Dr G. Mc. Clellan- armorial bookplate. .
