Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Co, 1898. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair Condition/No Dust Jacket. A worn and shaken copy of a scarce children's book. Edward Kemble is best known as the first illustrator of Twain's 'Huckleberry Finn'. Original pictorial paper covered boards, lettered cloth spine, complete and fairly sound - very rubbed and scuffed, some staining. Internally the contents are all present but text block/pages are loosening and sometimes frayed at edges. Ownership inscription on front free endpaper. Not paginated, [58] pages inc. half title, illustrations throughout. Landscape format, approx. size 9" by 12". Quantity Available: 1.
