Cornelius Cornelii a Lapide was a 16th-century Flemish Jesuit theological writer known for his commentaries on books of Bible. He wrote allegorical and topographical sketches on both Old and New Testament books, commentaries that are highly valued amongst Jesuit circles. His commentaries have been heavily edited and revised throughout the centuries following his death.
This volume is a fine 1703 edition of the commentaries of Major Prophets books of the Old Testament, including Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, and Daniel, as well as Apocryphal book of Baruch.
