About This Item
New York: O Halsted, 1826 Bound in full calf [recently treated] with blind stamped borders and two spine labels. While the period calf has wear at the tips, the front board is detached and a third of the top spine label is missing, the binding is still quite attractive, much more so than is usual for a book from this period. Pages are quite bright with occasional foxing, a marginal damp stain that comes and goes throughout the text, and a number of pencil lines on the edge of the text. Still much better condition than is common for a book this age.
