A minor worm hole in the margin first 20 ll, minor foxing, one map partly loose. Worn but fine contemporary full calf, richly blindstamped and oxided gilt spine and boards, front boards with crest and text "Bertholdus III Abbas Cremifanensis” and the rear with c rest and text "Illustrissima Academia Cremifanensis S. Agapitus m. Praenestin 1744", all edges gilt. A minor hole on spine. Owner’s signature on fly leaf ”Hic liber est Josephi Rettenpacheri. On front edge is written in ink ”IRP”. From the library of Arne Losman. Lacks the map of Gallia. With five of six maps, lacks the first map, Gallia. Kremsmünster Abbey is a Benedictine monastery in Kremsmünster in Upper Austria.
