The Rudiments of Song. 2. The Principles of Composition. 3. The Use of Discords. 4. The Form of Figurate Desant. 5. The Contrivance of Canon." Eighth printing. Bound in marbled boards with leather spine and corners. Six cells separated by gilded lines and with gilded floral stamps on spine. General wear and tear to covers and some chipping at tail of spine. Comes with a custom cloth shellcase. Missing frontispiece and title page, otherwise intact. With engraved and type-set music, a preface by the author, and a recommendation letter by Jenkins. Some scattered staining and toning within.
