The first compilation and publication of the laws of the State of California, just 3 years after statehood was granted in Sept., 1850. Published in the third State Capital in as many years; Benicia was home to the Legislature from Feb. 4, 1853 - Feb. 25, 1854. Not in Cowan or Howes. Sabin 10021.
