About This Item
New York, NY: The Viking Press. Good in Good dust jacket. 1964. Hardcover. Good in Good DJ: Ex-Library copy, showing the usual treatments. Else, The Book shows just a touch of wear to extremities; considerable smudging and soiling to the outside edges of the text block; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of any creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. Overall, remains a sturdy reading copy showing little wear but numerous cosmetic imperfections. The DJ shows moderate wear to the heel of the backstrip and at the lower front corner; still in a mylar-protector which shows much wear and scuffing and has been attached to the book; the price has not been clipped. The Dustwrapper does not itself show much wear, but the mylar cover makes a rather poor impression. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.75 x 5. 85 x 1.25 inches). Collected and Edited a nd with an Introduction and Notes by Vivian de Sola Pinto and F. Warren Roberts. Language: English. Weight: 26.4 ounces. Hardback with DJ. This was originally a two-volume set in a slipcase. This is Volume One only: Lacks volume two; Lacks slipcase. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 565 pages .
