London: Jonathan Cape, (1969). First edition. Uncorrected proof in olive-green paperwraps with Cape-logo design; in proof dust jacket priced "25s" (vs 6.95 pounds) on front flap and with "PROOF ONLY" on the back flap followed by the "Provisional Publication Date" which has been blacked out and has "June 26th 1969" printed beneath. About very good with covers somewhat soiled and with spine a bit wrinkled, as often seen with proofs such as these; in very good dust jacket with spine ends showing rubbed creasing and tears.
