London: John Lane the Bodley Head Ltd., 1927.. 1927 Two volumes. Handsome bindings in crimson half morocco with matching cloth boards. The spines gilt with raised bands. The spines are slightly faded and there are some marks to the cloth of Vol. 1. There is faint spotting to the plates and more pronounced spotting to the page edges. Otherwise a clean and tight set. Bookplates of Paul Latham, M.P. and restorer of Hurstmonceux Castle. Number 381 of 4300 numbered sets.
