Pamphlet. 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. 48 pp. The first half of the volume is illustrated with many halftone photographs, the second half has many technical tables and diagrams, 32 pages of graph paper bound in the middle of the volume is enhanced in this instance with 3 pages of manuscript notes documenting the costs of operating a motor vehicle in the 1930s; text clean, unmarked, except for manuscript notes on the provided graph paper, very minor toning, more to the first page of the graph paper. Red printed wraps, stapled; binding square and tight, small nick just above the foot of the spine. SCARCE. Very Good. Ingersoll-Rand produced Type 30 Air Compressors for use in garages and service stations. Contains diagrams, describes the parts and how to use and maintain the machinery. Includes a number of drawings of various compressors, as well as photographic illustrations of the compressors in use. Technical tables at the end. Includes manuscript notes of an automobile owner's records of costs for various services and parts expended on their vehicle. Interesting piece of automobile history. 1 copy in Worldcat.
