Hard cover in fine condition with red boards; spine contains black panel with gold gilt lettering, lines and additional lettering on red. Boards have been encased in protective clear jacket and have remained as new. Offset of small pieces of tape on board verso show on several pages following end paper. Former owner's name in each volume on small card at top corner of verso of front boards. Interior text blocks of both volumes : no writing, no markings noted. Vol I: 464 numbered pages; Vol II: 679 numbered pages. * From the Preface: ""The present book is based on a specially prepared and extended course of lectures prepared for courses Nos. III and IV of the mechanical-mathematical faculty of the Moscow State University specializing in computer mathematics.""
