About This Item
New York: Doubleday/Random House, 2010. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. Fine/Fine. The 21st stand-alone novel by the widely-acclaimed master of the legal thriller. "The Confession" features Travis Boyette, who raped and murdered a high school cheerleader and watched another man convicted for the crime. Now, nine years later, the innocent man is only days away from execution for Boyette's crime but Boyette, with a terminal illness, decides for the first time in his life to do the right thing and confess. But is it too late? How can he convince the police, the lawyers, the judges and the politicians they're about to kill an innocent man? Boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square, not remaindered. Dustjacket is nearly perfect, perhaps a touch of edge wear, no tears, no creases or chipping, not price-clipped. A collectable copy.
