Half Black cloth to the spine with bright gilt titling/decoration, with marbled paper covered boards. One dent/closed tear to spine (not very noticeable) otherwise very good in the Original SLIPCASE, which is splitting and worn away a little on the rear spine edge, slightly dusty and worn to the corners/extremities. The previous owners name and date neatly written on the front paste down. Black and white frontispiece. Decorated title page. 404 pp. Black and white illustrations. Apart from the minor faults noted, A VERY CLEAN TIGHT AND BRIGHT copy. ; 001943; 8vo .
