London: Gibbings & Company 1897. (Hardcover set) Very good plus. 292, 272, 223, 277pp. A quality binding in 3 / 4 green morocco with marbled boards. Marbled endpapers, top edge gilt, illustrations, index. A new edition thoroughly revised, corrected and extended by the addition of passages omitted from former editions and with illustrations after Maurice Leloir. The hinge on vol.1 is beginning to show signs of wear and the spine of vol.2 is faded to a golden brown, also an engraved bookplate in the first vol. (Sets, Sets).
