Berkeley: Berkeley Courier, 1918. Here is "...a war-time supplement to the ordinary cook book and is designed to aid the housewife in keeping the Food Pledge." This is a Very Good (Minus) copy of the "Revised Edition," presumed to be a Second Printing. Gray paper wraps, illustrated on the front by Bernard Maybeck, whose wife is listed as a member of the Editorial Staff. Clean, stapled text; very bright and clear. 176 pages, with 33 pages of adverts and advice. Indexed. The edges, which stand proud of the textblock, are creased and work, and there is a small chip at the foot of the spine. In an archival plastic protector.. Later Printing. Soft Cover. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. Illus. by Bernard Maybeck. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
