An interesting association copy, INSCRIBED BY LA FARGE on half-title page to architectural critic and author Montgomery Schuyler. Additionally with ownership signature (and annotations) of art critic Ruth Berenson, niece of the famed collector (and possibly former owner of this book?) In good overall condition with some shelf-wear and soiling to red gilt-decorated boards, lightly foxed and weakening binding and, as noted, marked up a bit by Berenson.
