Oversized hardcover without dust jacket, 264 pages, plus full colour reproductions including frontispiece of Constable with tissue guard;---elegant book in green cloth covers with front cover floral decorations in reddish brown, bright and clear gilt lettering to front cover and spine, top edge gilt, fore and bottom edges rough cut;---very gently used, tight in binding, just a hint of shelf wear to spine ends and cover corner tips, very clean and unmarked throughout (except for rectangular age toning to both free endpapers, probably from newspaper articles having been previously laid in).
