Boston: Crosby and Nichols, 1862. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 8vos. 484; 596 pages. Each volume indexed. Hardcovers bound in original brown publisher's cloth. Light to moderate wear to the bindings. Gilt on the spines is still bright. Headcap of Volume I has a brief tear. Inner hinges starting. Text blocks sound. The text is a little toned but is generally clean. Volume I is dated 1862; Volume II is dated 1863. An attractive set.
