The bindings are tight and square. Text clean, light even toning. Minimal handling wear. Modest hand soiling on the covers. 5 by 6.75 inches; 48 pages with an index; illustrated with b/w photos on every page. Diagrams on the inside of wraps.. Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the U.S. states of Nevada and Arizona. It was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression and was dedicated on September 30, 1935, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

K C Publications, 1976. Soft cover. Very Good. A 48 page pamphlet with many black & white photographs of the dam's construction. There is a drawing on the inside of the back covers that illustrates the manner in which Boulder Dam works. Inside the front cover is a longitudinal section of Boulder Dam and Appurtenant Works. No writing on or in the booklet. On the back cover there is some tanning near the spine. A touch of edge and corner wear and a tiny light brown spot at the bottom of the front cover. All in all, still a quite nice copy of one of the great marvels of American Engineering.
