PARIS: JULES TALLANDIER, 1925 French Text.Half Light Brown Calf Leather with marbled paper sides four raised bands to spine, black title slips with gilt titles and decorative gilt compartments, 3 vols complete. 255 x 170 mm approx. 100 full page Illustrations (incl. frontispieces) by A.Robida as called for + many other unspecified illustrations in text.Published by Jules Tallandier. Undated but printers code at rear would indicate Feb 1925 for vol I and Feb 1927 for vols II & III. Marbled end papers, Applied two colour head and tail bands,Green silk markers. Good (Heavy Rubbing to extremities with loss to tail of vol I and Head of Vol III, Mild to moderate bumping to some corners, binding otherwise sound with no cracks to end papers. No previous owner names. Some pages un opened. A total of 8 of the full page illustrations have been hand coloured in watercolour by an accomplished hand.
