Nesmy was famous in his novels for the realism of the description of the limousins' peasants. Nesmy was the pseudonymous for Henri Surchamp. The work is enriched by 80 illustrations by Dardaillon. Not dated but of around 1930. Editorial original cover in good conditions with worn spine and edges. Occasional foxings.
