Good binding. 8vo.; in heavy brown cardboard covers, with titling in silver, 144 pages. heavily worn and with multiple stains from cooking throughout; discreetly recased; there are several handwritten recipes laid in.~~A well-worn copy, with some paper repair, especially to the edge of the title page and patching some actual loss to the text to the last leaf in the book (143/144): "How to Organize a W.C.T.U." ("Our pledge is--I hereby solemnly promise, God helping me, to abstain from all distilled, fermented and malt liquors, including wine , beer and cider, as a beverage..."~~A challenged copy, of a very uncommon cookery book. We are unable to locate any institutional copies. Good binding.
