Boston/Dover, N.H.: D. Lothrop & Co., Publishers, 1884. Octavo, 223, [2] pages. Frontispiece and engraved illustrations throughout. Later printing. The juvenile title is "a series of daytime parties for you and the other grils. They will be given at one house and then at another... you will cook your own refreshments while at the club." In narrative style, the books leads one through formation of the club, making yeast, bread, sponge cakes, fruit cakes, and tea. A few scribbles on the front free endpaper. In black and gilt-decorated brick brown cloth. Edges rubbed; some wear to head and foot of spine, otherwise very good. [OCLC locates fifteen copies; Bitting, page 153].
