About This Item
Chicago: COQ Enterprises, Inc, 1974. Saddle-stapled magazine. Light shelfwear; some rubbing to covers. Very good. 106pp., including covers, semi-glossy erotic men's magazine featuring articles, news, reviews and interviews relating to sex and sexuality, illustrated with erotic drawings and comics and nude photography. Includes four pages of Betty Dodson art. Fashion photos by Skrebenski. William Peter Blatty interview. Cigar's Are A Girl's Best Friend (pictorial of woman with a classic phallic object). Voices of a Summer Afternoon, by Joseph Sander, with a two-page Patrick Nagel illustration. Videoculture of the Future May or May Not Be Pleasant, by J.G. Cawalti. Of special note: Sierra Club ad, 'A Probability Report,' showing the top of the Golden Gate Bridge protruding from the ocean, discussing deforestation and urban heat islands - 'one day as we approach the global heat limits... We would do well to slow the pace of change of change". Eerily prescient.
