About This Item
Kappa Alpha, Alpha Delta Phi, Psi Epsilon, and Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternities, Cornell University, 1881. This is the 1881 issue of the CORNELIAN, published by 3 fraternities at Cornell University. The book appears to be a kind of school yearbook - but an odd one, with its emphasis - apparently much more important years ago than today - on fraternity life. Each of the fraternities has a few pages devoted to its past years activities. Other campus organizations are recognized as well - such as The Mathematical Club, The Greeley Agricultural Club, The Sprague Boat Club, etc, etc. There are also 26pp of very interesting 19th century advertising. 9.5" X 6.25" apparently rebound in heavy duty brick-red buckram. Very minor soiling of front cover, Otherwise, superb condition throughout. 123pp + ads.. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
