45 pages of text with 45 plates. Folio (13 1/4" x 10") housed in original publisher's grey folding slipcase with black lettering spine and covers, red lettering to covers. Limited to 1000 copies. First edition.

The present publication is divided into two parts: In part one includes the description of the Howard Leigh Collection and of the Museo Frissell de Arte Zapoteca in Mitla, Oaxaca. One hundred and three items from this collection appeared in Volume II. The present work contains fourteen new items, numbered from CIV to CXVII. The second part of the volume contains a description of thirty one pieces, the majority of which are to be found in the National Museum of the United States, Smithsonian Collection, Washington D.C. There have been other items added (figures XI to XVI) with which is concluded the work on Zapotecan urns.

Slipcase edges rubbed else a fine copy in a very good slip case.
