Previous owner's name handwritten on front endpaper in ink dated October 1952. Un price clipped jacket with chips, repairs and tears. This contains the 4 famous dialogues in which Gide defends homosexuality. It appeared originally in France in 1911, bearing neither author’s nor publisher’s name. First appearance in English 1952. Translator P.B. From the Standard edition of the works of Andre Gide.
