Thin 16mo. 4.625 x 6.75 in. xii, 86 pp. Plain printed wrappers with adverts. Imprimatur &c. Contains approbation of Paul Cardinal Cullen, Archbishiop of Dublin; excerpts from Pope Leo XII's encyclical Charitate Christi; 31 counsels to confessors; an act of oblation to be made each morning; and an indulgenced prayer to be said by confessors before hearing confessions. Text in English, with some Latin. Epigraph reads, 'Divinorum divinissimum est coöperari Deo in salutem animarum' ('the divinest of the divine is to labor together with God for the salvation of souls'). Crisp.
