The story of the maps drawn of behalf of the Hudson's Bay Company over a two hundred year period. These maps were, for many years, the only reliable source of information on the landscape of Canada, from Montreal to the Pacific Coast. This book contains 66 reproductions of the most important maps from the Company. There is also a list of Manuscript Maps in the Hudson's Bay Company archives. For each map, the information includes; title or description, date of production, the cartographer, a reference number, the scale or size, and text. This is a near fine copy with light wear on the covers, mainly at the edges.
