About This Item
London Transport, 1936 and 1937 1936. 1st Thus. Softcover. VG+/VG+. RAVILIOUS, Eric. 1st thus, 10.7 x 17 cm paperbacks all with 124pp, a header to the contents page by Eric Ravilious, plus black and white photographic illustrations and line drawn route maps. The three books each have their scarce original dust jackets with a Ravlilious illustration on the front. All the books are very good with just a touch of rubbing mainly to the bottom edges with minimal loss to the head of the spine in the First Series. There is also a little ceasing to the bottom corners of the first and second series and a tape mark at the gutter of the last page. There are small splits in the bottom joints of the First Series and a slight lean. The jackets which are now protected in clear removable covers (not shown) are generally very good. There is minor loss to the spine tips more so to the first book which also has old tape on parts of the front and rear flap folds and is a little dust stained. All in all a scarce collection of the three books with their original Ravilious designed jackets and illustration. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions. All books are packaged with great care.
