A bright, solid book dustjacket in Mylar, unclipped.; B&W Photographs; 9.21 X 6.22 X 0.94 inches; 196 pages; "This is the story of the life at sea, by Naval Officer Richard Pool. He saw the evacuation of Dunkirk, the Fall of Singapore, was sunk of the coast of Malaya and was stranded on a desert island for four months." This was followed by capture by the Japanese and forced labour on the Burma railway. .
