Description:
New York, NY, USA: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1934. 1st Edition 1st Impression. Hardcover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Brown, Paul. First edition, first impression (with 'A' on the copyright page, as called for). Extensively illustrated in black and white, all by the author. In linen-spined pictorial boards. Landscape 8vo. Boards heavily rubbed at edges, with chipping and scuffs, rounded on corners, cloth rounded and fraying at spine ends, faded and lightly marked. Text block edges mildly toned. Illustrated endpapers toned, scuffed and discoloured along hinges. Almost every leaf shows signs of reading and fingering, mild toning on margins, but generally clean and neat. Probably in slightly better condition than the long list of faults implies - it is solid, firmly bound and very readable, and a good candidate for restoration.

Description:
New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1934. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/fair. Oblong quarto, unpaginated. A very good copy, reasonably clean, with an erased owner's name and address on the half-title page, along with an inked name, otherwise clean and unmarked. Some scuffing to bottoms of the boards. In a fair dust jacket, nevertheless better than sometimes found, with the $2.00 price intact, but with the bottom quarter of the front panel perished. Dust-soiled and chipped at extremities. Not lovely, but still a rare, early Paul Brown first edition in dust jacket.

Description:
Charles Scribner's Sons, 1934. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good Dust Jacket. This Original 1934 Printing with dust jacket is clean, solid and in great shape! This thin hardcover book has lots of illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling, writing, or tears. The copyright page shows 1934 as the published date. This is definitely Not a former library book. There is a price of $2.50 on the DJ flap. The beige DJ has an illustration of a pony leaping. The dust jacket is about 99% intact with tiny chips at the corners, a half-inch chip on the top of the DJ spine and light soiling on the back. I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket and this old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
