A perfectly serviceable reference copy; nothing fancy, but complete and sturdy. SIGNED by the author at first free endpaper, being warmly inscribed to William Baldwin. Blue cloth boards are discolored to white at top edge near spine and extensive at bottom edges and spine foot, but not seemingly from damp-staining, as there is neither mold nor mildew nor odor nor text waffling, and simple, printed, sunned paper dust jacket is unaffected; now protected in a Demco sleeve. Dealer stamp, neatly affixed. Cracking to rear paste-down to gutter, else clean and unmarked of interior. Special focus on the works of Benjamin Jowett, John Ruskin, Matthew Arnold and others from the Oxford University. ix, 224 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
