London: Longman, Brown, Green, and Longmans, 1846. HB. In three volumes. Brown embossed cloth, gilt lettering on spines, 8vo., Vol. I 490 pp. + ads at rear, Vol. II 503 pp., Vol. III 466 pp. + ads at rear. All covers show considerable wear, soiling, fraying top and bottom of spines. Rear joint of volume I cracked. Marginal notations, in pencil, volume I. No markings in Volumes II and III. Bindings solid in all three volumes. Good reading copies.
