A collection of Lord Thomas Babington Macaulay's essays, which first appeared in The Edinburgh Review, complete in two volumes. Bound in half calf with marbled boards. Complete in two volumes. Written by British historian and whig politician, Lord Macaulay, also known as Thomas Babington Macaulay. Bound in half calf with marbled boards. Externally, generally smart, with light bumping to the extremities. Slight rubbing to extremities and boards, with rubbing causing loss to gilt on spine, lacking spine labels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, with the odd handling mark. Bookplate to the first blank. Good
