Víctor Aumaitre Villarroel, nació en Santa Ana el 28 de julio de 1908. Realizó sus estudios primarios con el maestro Apolinar Figueroa Coronado. Se desempeñó como maestro en escuelas de los estados Nueva Esparta y Sucre. Ejerció como director de educación, cultura y deportes del estado Nueva Esparta, jefe de personal de la zona X de Malariología SAS Nueva Esparta, diputado y presidente de la asamblea legislativa del estado y del concejo del distrito Gómez. Fue propulsor y directivo de varios centros culturales en Nueva Esparta. Este reconocido personaje cultivó la poesía y el periodismo, fungiendo como director de diferentes medios. Entre sus publicaciones editadas se mencionan Vivencias de mi pueblo, 1998; Poemario intrascendente, 2002; Crónicas de Santa Ana II, 2006, entre otras. Ha recibido diferentes condecoraciones, entre ellas la orden Andrés Bello y orden General Francisco Esteban Gómez, además de ser declarado hijo ilustre del municipio Gómez.
Santa Ana es una localidad ubicada en la Isla de Margarita, Estado Nueva Esparta, Venezuela.
