NEAR FINE book, VG DJ(in Brodart). $2.50 DJ price. 1942 tp & cp dates, cp with both "A" and Scribner seal. Pale green top edge. . Top edge stained a very pale green. Book has only one flaw; name & address neatly inked onto 1st blank page. Book otherwise flawless. No bumping or rubbing. Text block edges bright & clean as new. ZERO aging, foxing, glue browning, etc. LASTLY: Text block stays closed when stood on spine, a sign of having been read with great care. DJ corners with 1/4" chips, flap & gutter line edges rubbed. DJ spine very faintly sunned, but nothing like the usual dark sunning. .
