Cassel & Co 1959. Stamped with 'Air New Zealand Antarctica Flights logo, dated signed & inscribed by Sir Edmund Hillary I enjoyed sharing our flight to the Antarctic 14/11/79. The next flight was 28/11/79 which tragically crashed into Mt Erebus, so this book was on the last successful flight. Super octavo, light blue cloth boards with silver lettering to spine, illus eps, illus title page, xvii + 338pp, illus, VG (slight tanning & fading to spine extrems, light foxing to page edges, inscription in ink to front pastedown, owner's name & address in ink to fep, sellotape residue stains to eps, moderate foxing throughout, annotation in ink (relevant) to page viii) in d/w, VG (price clipped, some foxing & tanning, bruising to spine extrems)
