I due curatori Ji Shaofeng e Alessandro Riva mettono in evidenza il filo sottile esistente tra gli artisti cinesi provenienti dalla Provincia di Hubei e quelli italiani.
Gli artisti cinesi raccontano la loro arte tra avanguardia e tradizione, tecniche tradizionali e interpretazioni fortemente contemporanee, mentre gli artisti italiani recuperano le tecniche tradizionali della pittura e della scultura, ma anche la fotografia e i video trattati con un'impronta classica.
