About This Item
First Edition/Stated First Printing; A Very Good book in a Very Good dust jacket. SIGNED and dated by the author without inscription. An outstanding copy of this early novel by the author of the Travis McGee series; this book difficult to find in collectible condition because of it's poor construction; very scarce signed indeed. This copy is in very good condition showing moderate foxing to the pages and text block (very common with this title because of the cheap paper used in production), mild rubbing to the spine ends and board edges, and a slight lean to the binding; housed in a clean and bright very good dust jacket that shows a couple of small closed tears along the spine and the back panel lower corner and some mild rubbing and light chipping to the spine ends and panel edges, Overall, a better than most copy of this book, certainly enhanced by MacDonald's signing; a lovely addition to any MacDonald collection. Not remaindered, not price clipped ($2.95 intact), not ex-library; in a protective Mylar cover and will ship in a sturdy box.
