London: Hodder & Stoughton Limited, 1937. xiv,368 pp. Octavo. Original green gilt decorated cloth. Top edge a bit dust soiled. Endpaper maps. 57 black and white illustrations including frontispiece. 2 plans at the end. Original illustrated dustwrapper which has minor chips and wear on the edges otherwise in attractive condition. A clean, square little used copy. This is Villiers account of his sailing a fully rigged tall ship around the world. Crewed with a band of young adventures they set out to explore the high seas. Very scarce in the attractive dust wrapper. Copy from the library of Ann Shirley noted polar historian with her signature on the endpaper. 1937
