First edition of Weber's first book of poetry, written while he was teaching art history in Clarence H. White's School for Photography. The book is dedicated to the pictorialist photographer Alfred Langdon Coburn, who wrote the introduction to this book. While the trade edition of this book is scarce, this limited edition is now quite rare. Weber's poems bring to verbal expression the same concepts that Cubist artists bring to visual expression: defamiliarization and foregrounding of fragments of experience. The book is in generally good condition: internally clean and bright, with crisp pages and some faint foxing limited to endpapers; externally lightly soiled, with some edgewear and deteriorating of the black spine paper..
