About This Item

New York, New York, U.S.A.: Viking Pr, 1981. First Edition Later Printing . Hardcover. Good/Very Good. The book that made us never look at Saint Bernard dogs in quite the same way ever again. From a single-owner collection, this hardcover is a FIRST EDITION, 2nd printing, with First State DJ (title in Red on spine). Hardcover book with quarter cloth-bound (black) over tan paper boards is downgraded to only Good due to discoloration around foot of spine, light foxing/discoloration to external age edges, former owner's bookplate on ffep. Binding tight & square, pages white. Price-clipped DJ is also only Good, marred by many small chips & a 2" tear ascending from bottom edge near spine on back cover. Synopsis

Cujo is a psychological horror novel by Stephen King. The novel won the British Fantasy Award in 1982, and was made into a film of the same name in 1983. The story focuses on the Trenton family: Vic, an advert designer, his adulterous wife Donna, and their four-year-old son Tad. The latter two are terrorized by the eponymous Cujo, a rabid St. Bernard.

Terrible ending but good story.

It is a great read if you like to lay awake at night! I read it at two sessions. I swear I heard every dog in my neighborhood at my door or in my rubbish. Suspenseful as only King can write it. I completely enjoyed. Just make sure someone is in the house with you.
